In order to reset the Administrator's password or the password of any other user's account, you must by-pass the Windows Operating system and start the Active@ Password Changer software from a bootable CD or USB Disk.
In order to do this, you must install the Active@ Password Changer software by running the Password Changer setup program on another computer which you can log into with a user account that has permissions to install and run programs.
Once Active@ Password Changer is installed, go to the start menu and click on the Password Changer program group. Click on the icon to create the bootable CD or USB Disk. Once that is created, bring the CD/USB to the computer in question and boot (turn on the system with the CD/USB in).
If the computer's boot sequence has been set to boot from the CD or USB disk first (see your computer's user guide for setting the boot priority), your system should be able to boot into Password Changer to reset the passwords.
