When I try to run a "Wipe" on my C: drive I immediately get a message saying Error Locking Drive C: Abort or Retry.

If Windows is currently running from this drive, the drive would be locked by the operating system and unacceptable by Active@ KillDisk.

It is recommended that you use the bootable CD or USB drive to start the computer and then perform the wipe operation.
