I've found my partition but cannot recover files or folders, why?

Active@ Partition Recovery acts like a switch to reinstate a lost or deleted partition table entry. It allows for a preview of the contents of a found partition but does not recover individual files.

In a sense, it is an all or nothing recovery tool. So if the partition is reinstated, everything comes back in one-shot.

If you would rather recover files to another location, Active@ File Recovery is more suitable to that situation. Active@ File Recovery will locate files just like Partition Recovery but it IS able to allow recovery of individual files (or a selection of folders or all folders and files).
