Why is Active@ Disk Monitor not seeing S.M.A.R.T. information from my hard drive? How can it be activated.

Active@ Disk Monitor will read S.M.A.R.T. information from the hard drive if it is an internal hard drive and the hard drive CONTROLLER also supports the S.M.A.R.T. standard. Otherwise, you will not be able to see the S.M.A.R.T. data.

Also not all drives support S.M.A.R.T. or may require additional drivers to do so.
